I’m Tired Of Being In The Streets. This Critical Paterson Program Is Making A Difference

By: Andre Sayegh

Jose Ortiz's life took a difficult turn at 14 when he first used heroin, leading to decades of addiction, homelessness, and severe health issues, including diabetes and HIV. RealFix connects individuals struggling with opioid addiction to treatment and housing, achieving a 27% success rate in housing the homeless, significantly higher than the national average.
