About Us
Homelessness in New Jersey is not inevitable. It is the result of policy choices, system gaps, and underinvestment—and it can be solved.
But the need is growing. More than 172,000 residents experienced homelessness or were at imminent risk in 2025, with too many individuals and families left with nowhere to turn.
The New Jersey Coalition to End Homelessness (NJCEH) is working to change that.
As a statewide convener, we partner with more than 140 providers, along with policymakers and people with lived experience, to strengthen New Jersey’s homeless response system. We operate at the intersection of policy, practice, and lived expertise—bridging gaps and advancing solutions that no single organization can achieve alone.
What We Do
We partner with state and local leaders to shape effective homelessness policy and secure sustainable funding.

We advance integrated health solutions that connect housing, behavioral health, and medical care.
