NJCEH’s AmeriCorps Program

NJCEH’s AmeriCorps Program mobilizes the talents and interests of full-time and part-time AmeriCorps State and National Members and the resources of various program partners to provide additional support to clients at homeless shelters and service providers across New Jersey. This is the first year of our program, and Members are serving as Housing Readiness Coordinators in 10 counties!

As a Housing Readiness Coordinator, you can help shelter clients experiencing homelessness navigate the complexities of securing housing by addressing key barriers such as identification, tenancy skills, income, and financial readiness. Join our team to make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness and to be part of a program that will change the scope of shelters in NJ and beyond.
