Solutions are strongest when shaped by those directly impacted. At the New Jersey Coalition to End Homelessness, we center lived experience to ensure policies and programs reflect real needs and lead to lasting change.
Homeless Does Not Mean Voteless
Every New Jersey resident deserves a voice in the decisions that shape their community. Through our non-partisan Homeless Does Not Mean Voteless initiative, NJCEH works to ensure that individuals experiencing homelessness have access to voter education, registration, and civic engagement opportunities.
We partner with emergency shelters, outreach programs, and lived experience advisory boards across the state to provide accurate, non-partisan information about voting rights, registration requirements, and election participation for individuals experiencing homelessness.Our goal is simple: remove barriers to civic participation and ensure that housing status does not prevent anyone from making their voice heard.
